How to successfully remove all your beautiful Luxurious festival glitter...

Love it or hate it, there’s no dodging fact that glitter gets absolutely everywhere! It’s applied liberally to your face, collarbones, hair, arms, legs and just about anywhere you’ll let us near! One of the biggest questions we’re asked is ‘how do I remove it? How do you get rid of it?!’. You’ll probably be seeing glitter for a days in places you didn’t expect to find it BUT there is a knack...

BABY WIPES ARE A BIG NO. WATER? THINK AGAIN!

Number one. Baby wipes are a big no-no in our book. All they do is smear and spread glitter around wherever you’ve got it.

Thinking about using just water? Think again glitter Batman! Again, the glitter will just travel around your glittery spots more and more.

DO USE A GEL OR AN OIL FOR EASIER GLITTER REMOVAL

This is what we DO suggest to remove your festival glitter:

Start with a dry brush or dust off as much as you can with our fingers while the glitter is still dry. This will stop the majority of it travelling around your glittery parts and has the extra win of being quite satisfying!

To remove the stubborn glitter, apply a gel or oil over the top (try aloe vera or coconut oil) and scraping it off using the back of an old makeup brush, or something similar. Check our video out...

To remove glitter from your hair or beard, brush it out as much as possible before you hit the shower (glitter dandruff – yey!). Give your hair a good shampoo and condition and when the conditioner is in, comb through to grab any last bits.

ECO GLITTER IS EASIER TO REMOVE THAN PLASTIC - YEY!

And the best news of all is that all our glitter is eco-friendly and biodegradable. It's gentler on your skin, hoovers up easier off your carpets and it's not harmful to wash it down the sink.
