GOING COASTAL @ THE EAST QUAY VENUE

Wedding Glitter Bar Luxurious Glitter takes part in the East Quay Wedding Fair and sets up as Kent's first eco glitter bar

This weekend we were at the seaside at one of our favourite venues, East Quay in Whitstable. Situated right on the gorgeous seafront, next to the Lobster Shack, The East Quay certainly lends itself beautifully to anyone looking for a quaint, alternative, coastal wedding and absolutely perfect for intimate weddings with your close family and friends.

We were thrilled to be asked along to their opening day and it was the perfect opportunity for our main Kent glitter artist, Alex, to get to know one of her new spots as she takes on Kent’s first eco glitter bar!

WEDDING GLITTER GOALS = LUXURIOUS GLITTER KENT!

When there’s eco glitter involved, the day is always great and this one was no exception! So many glorious glitter loving couples came through the door and straight over to see what we were up to. One couple diverted across the room with utter joy their eyes, which was amazing for us! We just love how great our wedding glitter bar has been received at alternative wedding fairs! Both mum and daughter loved every moment and there was no hesitation in booking up our wedding glitter bar, along with a spot of glitter for themselves (of course!) to seal the deal. We can’t wait to glitter on your big day! Thank you!

SHARING THE SUPPLIER LOVE

We’re just in awe of the other suppliers at wedding fairs and today, I fell in straight in love with Oast House Gifts! As well the most beautiful origami favours and gift boxes, all made from recycled paper, they also make one-off handmade jewellery from end-of-line collections. Genius!

We also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Bonnie from Beach & Meadow. They make stunning keepsakes and wedding decorations all from local and used oyster shells. Zero plastic found at her stand!

We also met Retro Rides 4 Brides who have a fantastic selection of vintage VW campervans for hire and Katie from True Blue Ceremonies – an independent celebrant.
